SIM HOPE for AIDS
Orphans
With millions of children becoming orphans due to the HIV/AIDS pandemic, the traditional response of orphanages would be impossible. HOPE for AIDS seeks to empower churches and extended families to care for these orphans, and corporately provide for their nutritional, educational, emotional and spiritual needs.

  Update
The vision of one South African social worker is to have a team of Christians who will visit orphans where they live and minister both to them and to those who care for them (Mseleni Foster Care Project). Similar efforts in Zambia have been very effective in meeting the needs of orphans.

    Facts
There are currently over 13 million children orphaned by AIDS around the world.
